Whirlpool Appliance Repair
Whirlpool repair requests can involve a standalone appliance, a stacked pair or an installed kitchen unit. Identify the individual machine and the point where its normal operation changes so CanFix can assess the job.
Before requesting Whirlpool service.
Use the Whirlpool document for the exact appliance
Whirlpool Canada provides a model-number search for manuals and literature, plus access to documents for appliances registered in its Owner Center. Match the label on the machine to the document before relying on a cleaning procedure, control sequence or installation requirement.
If you have two matching laundry appliances, check which label belongs to which unit. Similar styling and a shared installation do not make their model numbers or parts interchangeable.
Describe the sequence that fails
For a washer, distinguish a cycle that never starts from one that fills and then stops. For an oven, say whether the control display operates while a heating function fails. This sequence is more useful for preparing a visit than a list of parts suggested by an online discussion.
