GE Appliance Repair
For GE or GE Profile repair, use the appliance’s model/serial label rather than a caution-label number. CanFix accepts model-specific laundry and kitchen repair requests within its stated service scope.
Before requesting GE service.
A warning-label number is not the range model
GE’s identification guide distinguishes the appliance model tag from caution labels and their printed reference numbers. Its range examples show why copying any number visible near the oven can send a repair request toward the wrong documentation.
Some newer GE model tags include a QR code that opens product information. If available, it is a useful route to the correct documentation; keep the readable model text too, rather than sending only a photograph of the QR code.
Record the affected component group
Tell us whether a cooking problem affects the oven cavity, the cooktop or both. A laundry request should distinguish the washer from the dryer even when the units share a frame or closet. GE and GE Profile branding alone does not identify the electrical arrangement or a replacement part.
